| 22nd May 2009 - Inbhirfaolain Hut, Glen Etive Kevin and Lorna were the only people to attend the Inbhirfhaolain meet this year. The weather forecast was not good for the Saturday but it was okay for the Sunday. On the Saturday Kevin, Lorna and Tara, the dog, set off to do Beinn nan Aighenan (pronounced Ben nan Agony, for good reason). It was quite a long walk. Unfortunately it rained most of the day, but for some inexplicable reason, it was still enjoyable. Perhaps it was because we were both able to tick off a new Munro......................... The Sunday was a much better day so Kevin set off to do Buachaille Etive Beag. Lorna had great difficulty even walking around the hut, so another day's hillwalking was out of the question. Lesson to be learnt - do not have an eight month break from hillwalking ever again ! LD |
